How to see refresh history in Power BI

In Power BI, you can view the refresh history of your datasets through the Power BI service. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Navigate to the Power BI Service: Open your web browser and go to the Power BI service (https://app.powerbi.com/).

  2. Sign In: Sign in with your Power BI account credentials.

  3. Go to Datasets: On the left-hand side of the screen, click on the "Datasets" tab to see a list of all your datasets.

  4. Select Dataset: Locate the dataset for which you want to view the refresh history and click on it to open it.

  5. View Refresh History: Within the dataset page, you will find the "Refresh history" tab. Click on this tab to view the refresh history of the dataset.

  6. Review Refresh History: You will see a list of refresh activities along with details such as the refresh start time, end time, duration, status (success or failure), and any error messages if the refresh failed.

  7. Filter Refresh History: You can filter the refresh history based on different parameters such as date range, refresh status, etc., using the filter options provided on the top of the refresh history list.

  8. Export Refresh History: If needed, you can export the refresh history data to a CSV file for further analysis or reporting purposes by clicking on the "Export data" button.

By following these steps, you can easily view the refresh history of your datasets in Power BI and monitor the status and performance of data refresh activities over time.
