How to create Power BI Report using Excel as Data Source

1)      Open the Power BI Designer

2)      Go to Home è Excel Source or click on Get data è select the Excel source

     

3)      It will ask for the path for excel file. Provide the path of the excel

     

4)      Select the sheet from which data need to be load. click on Load

      

5)      It will create a table in Power BI Model and load the data into that table. You can rename the table according to your requirement.

                         

6)      Select any chart or table from Visualization and create the report.
